Electrical Engineer I (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Estimated starting salary: $64,853.15–$89,173.08 per year.

What you will do

• Assist with the design and development of electrical and electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications.
• Support circuit card assembly development and electrical wiring design.
• Test and validate electrical systems and components.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in design reviews.
• Document technical designs, test procedures, and results.
• Troubleshoot and debug electrical and electronic circuits and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0–2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic design, testing, engineering principles, and Computer-Aided Engineering tools.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for employment.

Nice to have

• Electrical engineering internship or project experience.
• Experience with CAD software for electrical applications.
• Exposure to functional and logical modeling, system analysis, circuit simulation, and analysis.
• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical component selection and manufacturing.
