What you will do

  • Design, develop, integrate, and validate electrical and electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications.
  • Develop circuit card assemblies and apply electrical wiring design practices where required.
  • Plan and conduct testing, troubleshoot electronic circuits, and analyze system performance data.
  • Create technical designs, test plans, test results, and related engineering documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in design reviews, and provide technical guidance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support the delivery of high-quality products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or a higher relevant degree that may substitute for experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in electrical and electronic circuit design and testing techniques.
  • Experience with computer-aided engineering tools and multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for employment because an active U.S. security clearance is required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Electrical CAD software, circuit modeling, simulation, schematic capture, and PCB layout experience.
  • Knowledge of aerospace and defense standards, FAA electrical regulations, EWIS, FMEA, SSA, and ELA.
  • Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic interference, component selection, and manufacturing.
