Atlassian Developer (Jira/Confluence)

Location: Washington, DC; on-site five days a week. The role requires an active Top Secret Clearance and may require US citizenship for federal agency clearance.

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze existing Atlassian, Jira, Confluence, and division information sites to identify duplication, service gaps, and opportunities for self-service.
• Design the information architecture, service catalog, intake taxonomy, and user journeys for a centralized enterprise service management portal.
• Develop conditional intake forms for enterprise technology, application, and service requests.
• Build and maintain portal architecture, workflows, governance models, integrations, and technical documentation.
• Install, configure, test, upgrade, migrate, and consolidate Atlassian and Jira Service Management environments.
• Monitor portal usage and search analytics, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to government leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience developing and managing the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience implementing governance workflows, approval chains, escalation paths, role-based access, and security protocols.
• Experience installing, testing, configuring, integrating, and deploying Atlassian tools and self-service portals.
• Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity policies and federal IT standards.
• Experience collaborating with division stakeholders, governance boards, and security teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, DC five days per week and hold and maintain an active Top Secret Clearance.
