Senior Medical Science Liaison (Obesity)

Location: US - Florida - North Miami; field territory includes Miami and Puerto Rico

Salary: $172,344.30–$233,171.70 annual base salary in the U.S., excluding Puerto Rico

What you will do

• Serve as a scientific and clinical resource for obesity opinion leaders, healthcare providers, population health decision makers, and other external stakeholders.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchange and communicate balanced clinical, outcomes, and economic data.
• Engage clinical investigators and research sites in support of the obesity pipeline and sponsored or non-sponsored research.
• Provide field insights to internal stakeholders and support medical strategy, congress activities, speaker training, and cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate compliantly with other field roles and maintain strong external relationships.
• Mentor other MSLs and complete required administrative, CRM, training, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master's degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience, or bachelor's degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in a medically related field, including clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, postdoctoral training, residency, or fellowship experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison role at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company, or current Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs experience in the sector.
• Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders and communicate scientific data effectively.
• Ability to work in the assigned North Miami/Miami and Puerto Rico field territory.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Seven or more years in a medically related field, including at least one year in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
• Cardiometabolic or obesity expertise.
• Experience managing a designated territory.
