Focus on interpreting genomic and clinical data, supporting investigator-initiated trials, developing scientific education, and maintaining compliant non-promotional communication with oncology and pathology stakeholders.

Location: Remote in the United States, associated with New York; field-based role with up to 50% travel.

Base salary: $141,600–$212,400 annually, plus eligibility for variable cash programs and, where applicable, equity.

What you will do

  • Lead and execute the US Oncology Medical Affairs strategy through objective, evidence-based, non-promotional scientific exchange.
  • Build relationships with oncology and pathology key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, laboratories, researchers, institutions, societies, and customers.
  • Provide scientific education on genomic technologies, precision oncology, laboratory applications, clinical evidence, and approved oncology IVD products.
  • Support investigator-initiated trial submissions, evidence-generation activities, clinical products, study sites, and investigators.
  • Gather and synthesize stakeholder insights to inform Medical Affairs strategy and understand patient and caregiver needs.
  • Support publication planning, review scientific materials and promotional content, and contribute to congress and educational activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline, such as PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, RN, or PA; a doctorate is strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of clinical, scientific, research, or industry experience, including at least 2 years of MSL or equivalent oncology/pathology experience.
  • Expertise in comprehensive genomic profiling, minimal residual disease, precision oncology testing, solid tumors, and hematologic malignancies.
  • Understanding of genomics, personalized medicine, in vitro diagnostics, clinical laboratory workflows, oncology, and scientific publications.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific data, solve problems, and translate territory and corporate needs into action.
  • Thorough understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, industry regulations, and ethical standards relevant to medical devices and scientific exchange; willingness to travel up to 50%.
