Business Analyst Associate

Location: Northfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $54,000–$81,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Research, analyze, report on, and optimize vendor chargebacks.
• Collaborate with vendors, sales representatives, group purchasing organizations, and other stakeholders to resolve disputes and determine financial responsibility.
• Investigate customer identification, eligibility lists, contracted item pricing, and acquisition cost issues affecting chargebacks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend best practices and corrective actions.
• Lead vendor sessions to gather business requirements and maintain distributor/vendor partnerships.
• Identify cross-functional improvements that reduce risk and increase efficiency while meeting strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data manipulation, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and concatenation.
• Advanced quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze reports, identify variance root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to independently manage workload under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP and customer service.
• Experience analyzing large datasets with advanced tools such as Power Query.
• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot to automate tasks or improve productivity.
