Informaticist 2 (SAS/Python)

Location: Remote in San Jose, California, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required for training or meetings.

Salary: $95,400–$130,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Coordinate with analytics, IT, and business departments to incorporate subject-matter expertise into analytical work.
• Analyze complex data and apply modeling, optimization, and predictive analytics to programs and products.
• Develop, test, and validate analytical cases that improve healthcare program outcomes and quality.
• Contribute to financial models and assess the business impact of mathematical and analytical findings.
• Communicate insights to different organizational units and make independent decisions in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of data analysis experience.
• Technical proficiency in coding and data visualization tools, preferably SAS, Python, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Experience with problem-solving, research, and analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Experience with data mining, predictive modeling, and using data to drive business decisions.
• Experience with PQA/NCQA measure analytics.
• Knowledge of or experience with CMS Stars.
