Lead Software Engineer - .Net/Azure

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States of America; four days onsite and one day per week working from home.

Salary: $128,100–$213,500 annual (USD).

What you will do

• Lead the design, delivery, and operational excellence of secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective Azure cloud-native applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and secure code while gathering technical requirements and contributing to application architecture.
• Review and approve designs, pull requests, source-control changes, testing approaches, and code coverage.
• Drive performance testing, resiliency, optimization, and adherence to software development lifecycle practices.
• Adopt Agentic AI across design, coding, testing, code review, and documentation while establishing responsible AI governance.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders, present architectural work, and coach other engineers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree plus at least 7 years of systems analysis or application development experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Without a degree, at least 9 years of combined education and relevant work experience, including 5 years of systems analysis or application development experience.
• Expert proficiency in at least one relevant programming language and professional proficiency in at least one additional relevant programming language.
• Experience with Azure cloud-native application design, secure coding, testing, resiliency, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, Delaware, four days per week.
