EHS Specialist II (Aerospace)

Salary: $74,000–$112,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analyses, and manage corrective actions.
• Provide EHS support to engineers, specialists, technicians, and other departments across the site.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen the safety culture and embed EHS into operational decisions.
• Create and review risk assessments, including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
• Prepare EHS documentation and support site EHS activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable environmental requirements.
• Knowledge of pressure safety, pressure systems, air contaminants and exposure controls, fall protection, and other core EHS topics.
• Experience conducting JHAs, field inspections, hazard assessments, and EHS training.
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills; comfortable using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to have

• EMT certification and experience.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Forklift or aerial lift operator certification.
• RCRA/DOT hazardous waste certification.
• Bilingual communication skills.
