IT Engineer (Digital Signage)

Location: Hybrid; Orlando, Florida, USA; Dallas, Texas, USA; or Newark, New Jersey, USA

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 per year

hirify.global designs and builds audiovisual and media technology solutions, including digital signage, for clients across corporate, entertainment, sports, retail, and government industries.

What you will do

• Design and create secured Windows and Linux images for digital signage deployments.
• Configure network switches, routers, wireless access points, and other IT equipment, and create detailed documentation.
• Develop network diagrams and present complex IT solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Install and troubleshoot PC hardware and coordinate with vendors to specify equipment for client solutions.
• Respond to service desk escalations, perform root cause analysis, and drive infrastructure issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with support teams, project managers, account executives, and clients to deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Advanced hardware knowledge and intermediate networking, security protocol, IT systems, and client-server communication skills.
• Proficiency in scripting or modifying scripts, with some programming knowledge or ability to read code.
• Experience with Windows 10 and 11, Linux, Windows IoT, and troubleshooting IT environments.
• Ability to work independently, analyze ambiguous issues, communicate clearly, present information, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Orlando, Dallas, or Newark.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or other relevant certifications.
• Cloud experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Deployment Services, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, or content management systems.
