Field Engineer (Networking)

Location: Atlanta, GA 30324, United States; remote and flexible hybrid work options are mentioned, with ongoing travel required.

Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Advise customers, project managers, and stakeholders on site status, deployment requirements, and field issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, regional field engineering leadership, support, software, and engineering teams to identify and resolve deployment problems.
• Support networking, vehicle wiring, low-voltage, and in-car technology installations in the field.
• Use Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Polaris, and proprietary software in daily work.
• Provide customer and team training, document completed work, and share lessons learned.
• Assist operations with uniforms and production activities when needed and travel on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Networking preferred; MCP, A+, and Network+ certifications preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in networking, IT, and vehicle wiring systems.
• Understanding of 12-volt systems, low-voltage wiring, Cat 6 cabling, and network wiring.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, with experience in networking and in-car audio installations preferred.
• Technical writing, data analytics, strong written and verbal communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to challenges, teach others, and contribute with minimal supervision.
