Network/System Administrator II

Location: Onsite in Bedford, Massachusetts, United States. Requires 10–25% travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibility.

Salary: $93,662–$125,120 annually, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day network and systems administration support for Collateral, SCI, and Special Access Program environments.
• Install, maintain, audit, and support secure Microsoft Windows networks, file servers, firewalls, network access, monitoring systems, and limited web/data applications.
• Maintain IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL protocols and support Cisco networking, switching, and virtualization technologies.
• Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, hardware upgrades, firmware updates, system configuration changes, and operational testing.
• Schedule tape backups and manage backup media libraries across customer and off-site storage facilities.
• Collaborate with customers, IT staff, program managers, and industry partners while providing technical guidance and resolving incidents.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Top Secret clearance and willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph are required.
• SAP experience is required.
• At least 3 years of related experience, or equivalent experience through technical training, certifications, or education.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, is desired.
• IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE or CCNA Security, plus knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Server, LAN/WAN, backup technologies, COMSEC, Risk Management Framework, Common Criteria, and system security policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with PL3 and PL4 cross-domain solutions.
• Experience supporting dynamic environments with Department of Defense, military, civilian, and industry personnel.
