Senior Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Define multi-year architecture and technology strategy for scalable full-stack systems, cloud platforms, and AI-powered products.
• Lead the design and development of frontend, backend, cloud, data, AI, and API platforms using modern engineering stacks.
• Guide multiple engineering squads and establish practices for delivery quality, automation, testing, observability, and reliability.
• Lead architectural reviews and decisions covering scalability, fault tolerance, security, data compliance, cost optimization, and API governance.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Operations, and Client Technology teams to prioritize work and resolve technical constraints.
• Represent engineering in executive and governance forums and translate technical tradeoffs into business insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years leading technical teams or engineering managers.
• Deep experience with full-stack development, cloud-native systems, distributed architectures, and high-scale platforms.
• Hands-on experience with technologies including Python, Go, TypeScript or JavaScript, C#, Java, React, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, .NET, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, observability, cloud security, and secure-by-design practices.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers, grow high-performing teams, influence stakeholders, and make architecture decisions with business impact.

Nice to have

• AI/ML product integration, LLM orchestration, or intelligent agent framework experience.
• Experience with Kafka, EventHub, CQRS, event sourcing, distributed event streaming, or platforms used across global organizations.
• Experience with Rust.
