Senior Fullstack Engineer, Customer Context (AI)

Location: Fully remote; must be based in the United States or Canada

Salary: USD $175,000–$205,000 base annually, plus significant equity

What you will do

• Own foundational systems and product areas as the go-to technical expert.
• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Investigate and solve complex problems across distributed, data-intensive systems.
• Drive system decoupling, modularization, technical debt reduction, and resilience improvements.
• Build with agentic AI workflows and help shape AI integration across engineering.
• Collaborate asynchronously with engineering, data, product, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale, data-intensive backend systems and APIs.
• Daily practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Experience with some or all of Python, Go, Rust, React, and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of event-driven distributed systems, Kafka, and distributed data processing technologies such as Flink or Spark.
• Experience scaling production systems, designing relational data models and indexes, writing performant SQL, and working with RDBMS, OLAP, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code such as Terraform, and application observability tools.
