Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the USA

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and own internal platforms supporting multilingual benchmarking, data quality, contributor operations, and AI delivery.
• Build workforce-management tools covering vetting, assessments, quality control, payment and delivery tracking, and reporting.
• Extend annotation, ASR, audio-quality, and LLM-based quality-control pipelines.
• Develop platform APIs, API-key provisioning, budget governance, ChatOps automation, and workflow integrations.
• Harden background workers and job-processing infrastructure with reliable, idempotent execution.
• Set engineering standards for testing, CI/CD, deployment, architecture, code review, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience owning production systems end-to-end across multiple runtimes or languages.
• Strong Python backend experience with FastAPI or a comparable framework, async SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL, plus production experience with Go, Java, or another statically typed backend language.
• Strong React and TypeScript experience, including component architecture, state management, and modern data-fetching patterns.
• Experience with worker systems, third-party APIs, OAuth/OIDC, LLM APIs, Slack or comparable bot integrations, and webhook-driven synchronization.
• Experience with Docker, Helm, ArgoCD or GitOps, Terraform, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability or production reliability practices.
• Experience building internal platforms for research, operations, support, data, or contributor-management teams, including safe handling of native-library memory growth in long-running Python processes.

Nice to have

• Audio or speech pipeline experience with ASR, Whisper, DNSMOS, or librosa.
• Experience with annotation workforces, inter-annotator agreement, statistical metrics, LLM-as-judge systems, or LLM-based review pipelines.
• Experience with ChatOps, notification and delivery systems, data exports, OpenTelemetry, or LLM provider gateways.
• Experience designing abstractions across heterogeneous data sources and implementing short-lived, rotatable service-to-service JWT authentication.
