Senior Director, Global Transportation/Logistics & Warehousing (Supply Chain)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Full-time position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year global transportation, logistics, and warehousing strategy aligned with business growth and manufacturing expansion.
• Lead global network design, regional distribution strategies, warehouse footprint optimization, and transportation mode and routing decisions.
• Lead and scale a globally distributed organization of more than 24 employees, including 8 direct reports, across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Own more than $200 million in global logistics spend, including budgeting, forecasting, sourcing, cost optimization, and KPI management.
• Standardize international transportation, warehousing, customs, dangerous goods handling, and performance management processes.
• Partner with sourcing, manufacturing, project delivery, and commercial teams to support on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in global logistics and supply chain leadership.
• Demonstrated success leading global, multi-regional teams and building scalable organizational structures.
• Deep expertise in international transportation, warehouse and distribution network design, customs, and trade compliance.
• Experience managing large-scale logistics budgets and delivering cost improvements through sourcing, mode optimization, and network redesign.
• Experience implementing transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, visibility tools, control towers, analytics, and dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
