Senior Compensation Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; compensation ranges are also listed for Boston and Chicago.

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually, including base pay and a portion of variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead compensation programs covering compensation cycles, promotions, variable pay, salary structures, career paths, and compensation ranges.
• Advise HR business partners, managers, Talent Acquisition, FP&A, and other stakeholders on pay decisions, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budgets.
• Own equity planning and administration, including grant guidelines, vesting structures, equity budgets, and compliance collaboration with Finance and Legal.
• Build compensation metrics, reports, models, and competitive intelligence for fast-moving job families such as AI/ML, engineering, and data science.
• Create compensation training and communications for HR, managers, and employees.
• Design AI-powered workflows for benchmarking, offer modeling, job description generation, reporting, market analysis, and data summarization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in compensation, consulting, or a related field in a high-growth environment.
• Experience building compensation programs, managing projects, and scaling processes.
• Hands-on experience with base pay and incentive plans, compensation analytics, and confidential data.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to build clear analytical models and reports.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered tools or workflows for compensation or HR operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local compensation laws.

Nice to have

• Experience with equity program design and administration, including grant guidelines, vesting structures, and equity budget modeling.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Experience with global compensation.
• Background in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
