HR Operations & AI Enablement Manager (AI)

Location: United States; hybrid work from one of the office hubs at least two days per week or eight days per month. Hubs include Austin, New York City, San Francisco, and the Washington, DC metro area.

Salary: $168,000–$250,000 USD in New York City and San Francisco; $151,000–$226,000 USD in other US locations.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave management, employee records, and HR case management.
• Identify manual and error-prone work, implement lightweight automation, and partner with AI Automation and Workday engineers on larger solutions.
• Pilot AI tools such as case-triage systems, employee Q&A solutions, and AI agents, measuring hours saved, cycle-time reductions, errors prevented, and employee experience improvements.
• Represent HR Operations in the Workday and People Technology roadmap, define requirements, test changes, and drive adoption.
• Own HR data integrity, reporting accuracy, compliance readiness, vendor relationships, and early HR analytics capabilities.
• Manage and develop a team of three to five people while partnering with Legal, Payroll, IT, Recruiting, Total Rewards, HRBPs, and senior HR stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or related HR leadership in a fast-growing company.
• Hands-on experience using AI and automation in HR operations, with measured results and the ability to coach others in adopting these tools.
• Experience with benefits administration, employment compliance, HR reporting and analytics, and operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Direct experience with Workday, systems integrations or rollouts, and translating HR Operations needs into technical requirements.
• Experience managing and developing a team, solving ambiguous cross-functional problems, and designing scalable shared-services processes.
• Background in technology or high-growth startups and experience working in a larger or more mature HR organization.
