Manager, US Facilities Operations & Space Management (Manufacturing)

Location: Middletown, Pennsylvania, United States. The role supports U.S. locations, requires domestic travel to supported sites and project locations, and may require response to urgent facilities matters outside standard business hours.

What you will do

• Lead daily facilities and infrastructure operations across supported U.S. locations, including HVAC, electrical systems, utilities, building automation, security, fire and life-safety systems, grounds, maintenance, and workplace services.
• Direct the Infrastructure team, establish priorities and service standards, allocate resources, and potentially assume responsibility for Maintenance personnel.
• Develop and review AutoCAD and BIM floor plans, test fits, space layouts, equipment arrangements, and three-dimensional visualizations.
• Lead occupancy planning, space-utilization analysis, workplace design, moves, relocations, renovations, expansions, consolidations, and construction projects.
• Manage architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, furniture providers, project schedules, budgets, permitting, commissioning, and closeout activities.
• Partner with Operations, Production, Distribution, EHS, Security, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Real Estate, and business leaders on facility strategy and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 10 or more years of progressive facilities, workplace services, real estate, engineering, construction, or operations experience, including at least 5 years of formal people leadership.
• Multi-site facilities management experience in complex commercial, manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, distribution, or automated warehouse environments.
• Working proficiency with AutoCAD and experience with BIM authoring, coordination, or model-review tools.
• Experience with facility renovations, expansions, relocations, construction, project planning, budgets, contractors, vendors, financial controls, and senior-leadership reporting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical infrastructure, building automation, safety, environmental, accessibility, building-code, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or credentials such as CFM, FMP, PMP, SFP, CEM, OSHA 30, CMRP, WELL Accredited Professional, or LEED Accredited Professional.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, IWMS, CMMS, smart-building technologies, energy-management platforms, digital twins, scan-to-BIM, or as-built validation.
• Experience supporting electronics, electromechanical, industrial automation, logistics automation, or other technically complex operations.
