EHS and Facilities Manager-Small Plant (Manufacturing)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $72,611.66–$116,700.00

What you will do

• Lead site environmental, health, safety, maintenance, and facilities operations across manufacturing and distribution activities.
• Maintain EHS management systems, compliance calendars, training programs, regulatory reporting, audits, inspections, and environmental records.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis and risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage maintenance staff and contractors, preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, facility systems, fire protection, security systems, and infrastructure reliability.
• Manage EHS and maintenance budgets, capital projects, business continuity initiatives, and sustainability efforts involving energy, waste, and water reduction.
• Partner with employees and cross-functional leaders on safety committees, Gemba walks, ergonomics, emergency response, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant EHS and maintenance experience, preferably including facilities leadership in manufacturing or distribution.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, including experience with OSHA process safety management system elements.
• Experience with incident investigations, root cause analysis, risk assessments, corrective actions, maintenance systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
• Experience managing teams, contractors, budgets, capital projects, and cost improvement initiatives.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, environmental studies, occupational health and safety, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to support off-hours, weekends, and emergency situations when business needs require.
