Financial Analyst, Product Control

Location: Toronto-81 Bay, 26th Floor, with a hybrid arrangement requiring 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Maintain the integrity and timeliness of gross revenue for management records and reporting.
• Reconcile and decompose profit and loss (P&L) to traders’ same-day estimates.
• Decompose P&L by risk factors and explain underlying drivers to Front Office, Risk Management, and Finance stakeholders.
• Review and consolidate daily commentary and analyses for business partners.
• Implement policy and requirement changes through controlled processes.
• Maintain end-to-end process maps and task manuals in line with regulatory requirements, SOX, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Experience with financial reporting concepts and processes for complex or sensitive instruments.
• Understanding of derivative products, fixed income, cross-currency products, forwards, options, and vanilla or non-standard derivative transactions.
• Strong critical thinking, investigation, communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
• Current CFA or CPA accreditation in good standing.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified Toronto location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Alteryx, Microsoft Tableau, or Power BI.
