Financial Analyst

Location: Ontario, Canada; based in the Ottawa headquarters or remotely

Salary: $48,000–$55,000 CAD per year, with eligibility for a bonus or merit program

What you will do

• Manage month-end and quarter-end financial close processes and meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with forecasting net revenues and operating expenses.
• Coordinate accurate recording of intercompany transactions with the Finance group.
• Support divisional executives and respond to information requests during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
• Prepare special projects and ad hoc reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in accounting.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and balance competing demands in a changing business environment.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or current CPA studies.
• Knowledge of Great Plains.
