Analyst I, Materials Planning (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Monitor critical and long-lead GMP inventory and maintain stock levels needed for production.
• Coordinate GMP material transfers among RTP facilities and external partners, including stock transport orders.
• Manage procurement and stocking of consumable production supplies.
• Create SAP process orders, support SAP plant implementation, and assist with manufacturing and packaging scheduling.
• Track material deliveries, inventory records, production schedules, and drug product batch yields.
• Coordinate with purchasing, manufacturing, materials, and quality teams to resolve supply chain issues and ensure timely ordering.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 4+ years of pharmaceutical supply chain or inventory management experience; or an associate degree with 2+ years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MRP calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
• Must work 100% on-site at the Durham, NC office.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices related to warehousing, manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and computer systems.
• Knowledge of material requirements planning, bills of material, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
• Ability to execute a work plan and adapt to schedule changes.
