Supply Chain Associate (Nuclear Microreactors)

Location: 100% onsite at the El Segundo headquarters, California, United States; occasional travel to supplier locations of up to 30%.

Salary: $85,500–$122,325 per year, plus equity.

hirify.global is a startup developing portable, factory-built nuclear microreactors for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases.

What you will do

• Track and expedite purchase orders for assigned commodities.
• Manage lower-complexity supplier relationships and escalate significant commercial issues.
• Analyze supplier quotes and cost data to identify savings opportunities.
• Support supplier risk assessments, evaluations, audits, and scorecards with Supplier Development Engineers, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
• Prepare negotiation materials covering pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
• Draft and review MSAs, NDAs, and purchase order terms while translating technical requirements into sourcing criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; manufacturing, hardware, or hands-on engineering project experience is valuable.
• Strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, and interest in developing negotiation capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with ERP/MRP systems and standard office software, or willingness to learn.
• Must work 100% onsite at the El Segundo headquarters and be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Interest in nuclear energy or willingness to learn NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME BPVC Sections III and VIII.
• Exposure to supplier audits or inspections.
• Coursework or interest in ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems.
