Materials Manager (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $92,820–$125,580 per year, plus potential stock options and/or long-term cash awards.

hirify.global develops commercial space infrastructure, including in-orbit pharmaceutical processing payloads, reentry capsules, heat shields, and satellite buses.

What you will do

• Monitor material movements and process flow across receiving, production, inventory, and factory operations.
• Develop scalable plans for material movement across multiple buildings and locations.
• Manage the material lifecycle from receipt through storage, kitting, and production use.
• Optimize inventory and identify strategic material movement cost-savings opportunities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and provide backup support for transportation scheduling.
• Prepare ERP-requested material kits, monitor shelf life and stock levels, and perform inventory counts.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, material movement, inventory management, and expediting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems or equivalent software.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and qualify as a U.S. person for access to export-controlled technology.
• Effective communication with external suppliers and internal employees.
• Strong organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation Management, or equivalent experience.
• Forklift operating experience.
• Multi-site logistics experience, including inbound and outbound international shipping.
• HazMat certification covering DOT, IATA, IMDG, or lithium-ion batteries.
• Experience in aerospace or another fast-paced industry.
