Manager, Engineering (Business Technology)

Location: New York City, New York; hybrid schedule with three office days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Salary: $239,000–$292,000 per year, plus equity eligibility and benefits

What you will do

• Lead engineering efforts for the internal customer support and employee-facing technology systems.
• Own the identity provider solution, including secure employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding.
• Own the internal network and ensure a reliable networking experience for employees at the New York City headquarters.
• Build and develop the business technology team through capacity planning, hiring, performance development, and terminations.
• Define and maintain operational metrics, including support SLA adherence and organizational health indicators.

Requirements

• Experience managing strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and aligning technical roadmaps with employee experience objectives.
• Ability to identify misallocated resources and focus the team on high-leverage opportunities.
• Systematic approach to innovation and improving internal employee experiences.
• Strong accountability, urgency, direct feedback, and results ownership.
• Experience with technologies such as Okta, Iru, CrowdStrike, Serval/Ravenna, Claude, GWS, and macOS.
• Willingness to work from the New York City office three days per week.
