Engineering Manager, AI CI/CD (AI)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom or United States

Base salary: $229,000–$258,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own the Guardener, hardened GitHub Actions, hirify.global Agent Skills, and emerging microVM-based products from roadmap through rollout and iteration.
• Hire, lead, and grow a small team of engineers while removing blockers and enabling strong execution.
• Review designs and pull requests, prototype solutions, and remain technically hands-on.
• Partner with Product to prioritize tradeoffs, set deadlines, and ship iteratively.
• Own product quality and reliability while incorporating customer feedback into the roadmap.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing engineers and a sustained interest in developing teams.
• Track record of shipping products or major features and owning their results.
• Strong technical background with the ability to read code, review designs, and reason about architecture and tradeoffs.
• Proficiency with Go or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or product-facing platforms, plus familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AI tooling, strong communication skills, and comfort working autonomously in ambiguous environments.
