Engineering Manager (AI)

hirify.global is partnering with a leading media technology company on a critical video engineering project.

What you will do

• Lead the consolidation of telemetry systems across engineering teams.
• Architect and help build a unified platform for video operations, monitoring, and KPI analysis.
• Define relevant telemetry and data points from underlying component systems.
• Structure and harmonize data from multiple sources to support automation and AI.
• Implement AI-driven automation, self-healing capabilities, and deeper root-cause analysis.
• Build and develop a new engineering team, participate in hiring, and coordinate with SSAI, player, CDM, and other engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience with observability, monitoring, and telemetry tools.
• Strong architecture and technical leadership experience.
• Experience integrating or consolidating platforms, systems, or data sources.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data harmonization, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on engineering experience and willingness to remain technically involved.
• Experience with automation, AI, or self-healing operational capabilities.

Nice to have

• Experience in media or streaming industries.
• Background as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Distinguished Engineer, Architect, or highly technical Engineering Manager.
