What you will do
- Lead the California engineering team based in the Sunnyvale office.
- Oversee critical development of the edge AI platform, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing engineering.
- Manage and grow the engineering team, scaling the organization 2–3x within a year.
- Collaborate directly with the CTO, CEO, and Product leadership to set technical direction.
- Remain hands-on through architecture design, code reviews, and debugging.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Staff or very senior IC for several years before moving into management.
- Current or prior experience as a Tech Lead Manager or Engineering Manager.
- Deep technical strength in distributed/real-time systems (C++), robotics/AI, or HPC.
- Experience within an established top-tier engineering culture (50–100+ person organization).
- Proven hiring track record with a high bar for engineering talent.
- Must be able to work on-site in Sunnyvale.
