Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid, with presence required four days per week at the Bellevue or San Francisco office; Tuesday is the designated work-from-home day.

Annual salary: $338,000–$450,000 in Bellevue or $375,000–$500,000 in San Francisco/San Jose.

Lambda builds AI cloud infrastructure on NVIDIA hardware for AI researchers, enterprises, and hyperscalers.

What you will do

• Track NVIDIA hardware and software roadmaps and determine which technologies Lambda should adopt or reject.
• Turn adopted technologies into customer-facing products, including On-Demand GPU Instances, 1-Click Clusters, and private cloud deployments.
• Own the strategic product relationship between Lambda and NVIDIA and route requests to the appropriate product and engineering owners.
• Lead the product side of joint engineering and co-development programs, defining scope, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with compute, storage, networking, orchestration, security, and hardware product managers to move GPU generations from evaluation into production.
• Define adoption metrics, measure outcomes, and communicate decisions clearly, including decisions not to proceed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience at a cloud provider, systems company, or silicon vendor.
• Experience owning a strategic technology partnership involving joint product or engineering development.
• Ability to evaluate silicon and systems roadmaps and understand their implications for a cloud business.
• Strong understanding of GPU platforms and experience making adoption decisions involving significant capital and engineering costs.
• Experience coordinating internal and external engineering teams toward a shared delivery milestone.
• Clear written and verbal communication, structured decision-making, and the ability to influence engineers, executives, designers, and partners without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU or accelerator platforms and taking new generations from qualification into production.
• Experience evaluating pre-release silicon, systems, or infrastructure software.
• Experience with data center power, cooling, density, or infrastructure build-versus-buy decisions.
• Experience running external co-development programs or working at a GPU cloud, hyperscaler, or AI infrastructure company.
