Product Manager, Enterprise Privacy (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requiring staff to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time

What you will do

• Build and evolve enterprise privacy controls for retention, access, logging, compliance reporting, customer-managed keys, custody, and data residency.
• Partner with Privacy Engineering, Infrastructure, Trust and Safety, Legal, Security, GTM, product teams, and cloud providers to deliver platform capabilities.
• Co-develop solutions with regulated customers and compliance teams so shipped controls meet real audit requirements.
• Guide build-versus-buy and cloud-provider decisions while sequencing privacy capabilities across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Define success metrics and expand self-service tools for compliance and security teams to inspect settings, posture, and access history.
• Communicate prioritization trade-offs and customer-facing responses across privacy risk, safety, legal exposure, and commercial impact.

Requirements

• Experience taking an ambiguous product area to a durable roadmap and shipping controls relied upon by enterprises or regulators.
• Experience driving platform capabilities across multiple customer segments and internal stakeholders.
• Strong judgment in balancing customer demand, risk, and engineering cost, with clear communication to leadership.
• Ability to translate privacy, safety, legal, and commercial considerations into a coherent product vision.
• Highly collaborative relationships with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders, including credibility with CISOs and senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of product management experience with deep exposure to privacy, security, or compliance products.
• Experience with audit logging, key management, data residency, retention, or access governance products for regulated customers.
• Experience shipping controls across multiple cloud providers or partnering with AWS, GCP, or Azure at the platform level.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, certification, attestation, or trust center programs.
• Experience using Claude, Claude Code, or comparable agentic tools and defining their data controls.
