Credit Analyst Intern (Fintech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays, with in-office collaboration on other weekdays.

Salary: £50,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Analyze complex datasets to generate insights and improve lending strategy.
• Use data and modelling to estimate future default rates and support NPV modelling.
• Analyze credit data to guide decisions on customer eligibility and lending amounts.
• Conduct hypothesis testing across lending strategy, pricing, and fraud detection.
• Present findings to senior leaders and collaborate with product and technology teams to implement improvements.

Requirements

• University student in the penultimate year, including undergraduate, master's, or PhD students.
• Coding skills in Python or SQL.
• Ability to work with complex datasets, analyze them, and draw meaningful insights.
• Strong numerical ability, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in working in a fast-growth startup environment.
