Junior Credit Analyst (Private Credit)

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis, relative value analysis, and forward-looking credit modeling to develop actionable investment ideas.
• Prepare detailed deep-dive research on corporate loan issuers, including credit strengths, risks, industry comparisons, transaction history, and valuation analysis.
• Analyze leveraged loan situations across the credit lifecycle, with priority given to European credits and occasional coverage of US names.
• Maintain an active dialogue with analysts and monitor sector trends relevant to upcoming research cases.
• Build coverage of performing leveraged loan borrowers and lead primary analysis work over time.
• Collaborate with lawyers and other groups while interacting with institutional subscribers and financial professionals.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of credit research experience in a buy-side, sell-side, or rating-agency environment.
• Experience in financial analysis, cash flow projections, and capital structure analysis.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to produce extensive written research, including reports typically spanning 20–30 pages.
• Familiarity with AI tools and eagerness to learn.
• Fluency in Excel.
