Manager, Care Management (Behavioral Health)

Location: Remote, but candidates must reside in Ohio

Salary: $102,900–$190,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage the behavioral health care management team supporting the Buckeye Medicaid plan.
• Direct daily staff activities, review caseloads, and provide guidance on complex mental and behavioral health cases.
• Oversee care management documentation, policies, procedures, programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage escalated member and provider concerns, complaints, audits, and care program evaluations.
• Set team goals, provide performance feedback, and share updates with senior care management leadership.
• Support onboarding, hiring, training, member outreach, and communication initiatives.

Requirements

• Must reside in Ohio and hold an active clinical license in the state.
• Master’s degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Licensed clinical behavioral health professional or RN with behavioral health experience required, such as LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC, or RN.
• Experience in behavioral health, managed care, case management, community mental health centers, or utilization review.
• Leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
