Field Service Technician - Salt Lake City, Utah

Location: United States - Field; 1st shift, on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah. Daily travel to customer sites is required, with occasional travel and temporary short-term assignments in other locations.

Salary: $22.68-$35.65 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on hirify.global equipment at customer sites.
• Test, diagnose, calibrate, repair, and replace mechanical, electronic, and sensor components.
• Troubleshoot card printer systems using service manuals, laptops, voltmeters, and hand tools.
• Manage service calls through a dispatch system and maintain accurate inventory in the ERP platform.
• Work independently with customer operations staff and resolve most service issues without management assistance.
• Complete required training, support less experienced personnel, and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency using PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software.
• Ability and willingness to drive to several customer sites daily and work on-site in Salt Lake City.
• Valid active driver’s license, willingness to work flexible shifts, travel when required, be on-call, and work overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform work involving sitting, bending, stooping, and walking.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent verifiable training.
• Additional electromechanical or field service experience.
• Experience with hirify.global central issuance, electro-mechanics, digital electronics, software, tools, and electronic test equipment.
