Field Service Engineer II CMP (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, NY, United States; work at the facility and customer sites, with travel for training and alternate sites. Relocation is eligible, and the role requires full US work authorization.

Salary: $31.00–$42.40 per hour

What you will do

• Assist senior engineers with installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Use task plans, diagnostic techniques, schematics, and digital analytics to test equipment and resolve technical problems.
• Complete job documentation, safety training, and parts-processing procedures.
• Represent hirify.global directly with customers and support customer-site requirements.

Requirements

• Full US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Associate degree, military technical training with field experience, or equivalent technical certification; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment-support industry.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and document technical details clearly.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics and at least one of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics; experience with hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport; ability to work rotational shifts and meet physical clean-room requirements.
