Field Service Engineer - Implant (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; field service work with 10% travel. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $37.00–$51.20 per hour

What you will do

• Install, start up, maintain, repair, retrofit, and upgrade semiconductor equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Use digital analytics, documentation, test equipment, and diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Respond to fab issues, communicate with engineers in other locations, and participate in escalation calls.
• Execute corrective action plans, verify equipment quality, and help improve uptime and reduce costs.
• Communicate directly with customers and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proficiency with the primary toolset and ability to qualify on additional systems with limited support.
• Ability to complete startup activities through Tier II and perform most equipment retrofits.
• Experience applying procedures, schematics, diagnostic techniques, and test equipment.
• Ability to work safely in high-pressure or ambiguous situations and follow required procedures.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
