Data Analyst (Databricks)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed location is Franklin, Tennessee.

What you will do

• Analyze large and complex healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and actionable insights.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports, dashboards, analytical models, and structured datasets for operational and financial performance.
• Query, transform, join, and validate data using SQL and related analytics tools.
• Translate analytical findings into concise reports, presentations, and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Operations, Account Management, Product, IT, and Data Management teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Document methodologies and support continuous improvement, quality assurance, and performance monitoring across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or relational databases.
• Experience with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, including 3 years integrating Databricks, Power BI, and Claude Code.
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with statistical analysis or predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology such as CPT codes, DRG, claims, and inpatient/outpatient services.
• Regular and timely attendance is required, and the role is remote within the United States.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, revenue cycle management, or a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
