Payer Operations Analyst (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Identify, triage, route, and resolve data quality issues across more than 1,200 payer data feeds.
• Investigate broken SFTP connections, delivery delays, file transmission failures, and manual care gap upload issues.
• Coordinate clinical quality submission audits, maintain audit documentation, organize patient data files, and locate clinical evidence.
• Maintain contract metadata, including contract names, TINs, and administrative details, for downstream reporting and product integrations.
• Lead cross-functional data initiatives with Payer Solutions, Product, Engineering, Field Operations, and payer partners.
• Maintain SOPs and address root causes to improve payer feed quality and internal ingestion workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience in data operations, analytics, product management, or related technical roles involving complex data.
• Intermediate SQL programming experience.
• Technical fluency with data warehouses, BI and visualization tools, file-transfer systems, and workflow management tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, SFTP, and Jira.
• Ability to trace data flows across internal and external systems, identify root causes, and communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to understanding system architecture and improving complex data ecosystems.

• Healthcare domain expertise, including value-based care, Alternative Payment Models, Medicare, and non-MSSP quality measures.
