Software Engineer II, Frontend (Marketing and Privacy)

Location: Remote within the United States. Remote-first work with occasional in-person office requirements and an in-person onboarding experience for new hires.

Base pay: $165,000–$225,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT; $146,000–$206,000 per year in other U.S. states.

What you will do

• Build and improve high-traffic logged-out consumer web experiences using React, TypeScript, shared component systems, testing, performance practices, and observability.
• Deliver web experimentation, client-side tagging, marketing technology integrations, attribution, and measurement capabilities.
• Break larger projects into phased tasks and collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering.
• Monitor operational metrics, support service availability, participate in on-call efforts, and help resolve production issues.
• Participate in technical ideation, communicate constraints and trade-offs, review code, and contribute to interviews and team development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
• 1.5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Ability to design solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
• Experience navigating large codebases, debugging code, conducting code reviews, and collaborating effectively with engineering and cross-functional partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Tag Manager, analytics and experimentation platforms, conversion tracking, or marketing APIs.
