Senior and Mid-Level Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the Toronto or San Francisco office.

Salary: Toronto: CA$150K–CA$215K plus equity; San Francisco: estimated US$190K–US$250K plus equity.

What you will do

• Design and ship user-facing experiences for AI-powered communication agents across voice, SMS, and email.
• Own frontend technical decisions from architecture and implementation through production and iteration.
• Partner with Product and Design to turn evolving customer needs into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Build fast, responsive, and reliable interfaces for real-time AI agent interactions.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on seamless end-to-end experiences across the AI communication platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience as an individual contributor.
• A strong track record of shipping customer-facing products from concept to launch, including the ability to explain technical decisions and lessons learned.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and solve problems without predefined solutions.
• Strong technical depth and ability to discuss implementation details clearly.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Interest in owning technical problems as an individual contributor rather than pursuing people management.

• Experience building AI-powered products, conversational AI, communication platforms, or SMS and compliance systems.
