Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Nampa, Idaho, United States; extensive travel to Pullman, Washington and Lewiston, Idaho during the first 6–12 months

Pay range: $34.81–$51.39 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues identified during preventive maintenance and reactive service calls.
• Complete maintenance tasks under the guidance of supervisors and senior technicians.
• Enter and maintain accurate records in the equipment maintenance database.
• Support facility development, training, process familiarization, and relationship building through extended travel.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technologies.
• Experience maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics and modern test equipment.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Access, along with strong writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively in multiweek increments, potentially totaling 8–12 weeks or more during the first 6–12 months.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, microprocessor circuits, vision systems, and robotics.
• Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of printed circuit board, mechanical, and cable assembly processes.
