Engineering Technician 2 - Night Shift (Semiconductor)

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and rework resulting from testing.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on hirify.global platforms.
• Create logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other engineering and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to a range of technical activities.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal technical descriptions.
• Ability to identify and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and, when required, use cleanroom personal protective equipment.
