Technologist (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $64,000–$80,000 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate equipment modifications with Engineering and support new equipment installations with engineers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Generate and refine preventive maintenance procedures and develop standard work for troubleshooting, setups, and changeovers.
• Analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose electrical issues using PLC, VFD, Panelview, and servo communication tools, drawing packages, and multimeters.
• Diagnose mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup problems while monitoring parts spending and reliability trends.
• Support inspections, maintenance guidelines, equipment safety, quality compliance, and 6S housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of experience in mechanical systems repair, industrial maintenance, or an equivalent role.
• Understanding and application of predictive maintenance tools.
• Ability to drive and guide equipment repairs alongside team members.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds and perform bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching, twisting, and balance-related tasks.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a technical field such as Industrial Maintenance.
