Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Beryl, West Virginia, United States; onsite plant work

Starting hourly rate: $32.35 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on conveyors, production machinery, and other plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues, replace defective components, rebuild equipment, and return the plant to operation.
• Lead maintenance activities during outages and coordinate weekly planning, scheduling, parts preparation, and resource coverage.
• Operate process equipment, including control-room systems and front-end loaders, to support raw-material handling and process stability.
• Maintain equipment-ownership boards, complete PM and improvement activities, support Kaizen events, and address major downtime causes.
• Maintain plant cleanliness and grounds, document maintenance actions, and communicate issues across operations and platform teams.

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance of industrial and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, replace components, adjust systems, and maintain equipment uptime.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems used in production.
• Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical or electrical drawings.
• Ability to work scheduled resource coverage, outage support, call-ins, and possible overtime to restore plant operation.

Nice to have

• Basic to intermediate MIG, TIG, or stick welding experience.
• Cutting, grinding, and fabricating skills for equipment repair or modification.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including 120V–480V motors, sensors, relays, switches, and wiring.
• Experience using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Basic PLC knowledge, including Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems, with troubleshooting of I/O, sensors, communication faults, and program-related issues.
