Maintenance Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Lancaster, New York, United States; onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday–Friday

Salary: $55,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and automated machinery.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems and components.
• Adjust and replace electrical sensors, tooling, and machine-changeover components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, startup and shutdown procedures, and facility opening and closing.
• Use metalworking tools and equipment, read manuals, drawings, and schematics, and perform rigging and machinery moves.
• Handle emergency generator changeovers, spill responses, and pest-control activities as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school plus two years of experience repairing PLC-controlled equipment, or a high school diploma plus six years of relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, ladder logic, basic electrical systems, and PLC equipment.
• Forklift and scissor lift certifications required.
• Ability to work onsite in Lancaster, New York, United States.
