Director, Investor Services

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY; Union, NJ; Dallas, TX; or Windsor, CT

Salary: $115,000–$210,000 USD annually, depending on location, experience, education, skills, and performance. Annual discretionary bonus and/or equity awards may also be available.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage an Investor Services team while monitoring performance and implementing improvements.
• Oversee daily investor services operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and adherence to service-level agreements.
• Manage investor onboarding, including KYC/AML due diligence, subscription document review, and system setup.
• Supervise investor statements, capital calls, distributions, ad hoc reporting, and timely inquiry resolution.
• Build relationships with key investors and represent Investor Services capabilities in client pitches and due diligence meetings.
• Develop operating procedures and automation opportunities in collaboration with fund accounting, legal, compliance, and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investor services, client services, or fund operations within alternative investments such as hedge funds, private equity, or real estate.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience with a record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of alternative investment fund structures, operations, and regulatory requirements including AML/KYC, FATCA, and CRS.
• Knowledge of investor reporting requirements, strong communication and organizational skills, and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Experience with fund administration software such as Geneva, Advent, or Yardi, plus Microsoft Office Suite.

• Master’s degree with 8 years of industry experience.
• CFA certification.
