Senior Director, Investor Services (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY; Union, NJ; Windsor, CT; or Dallas, TX

Salary: $135,000–$240,000 USD base salary annually, depending on location, experience, education, skills, and performance. Annual discretionary bonus and/or equity awards may also be available.

What you will do

• Lead investor services operations for a portfolio of complex fund structures.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve investor services offerings and operational processes.
• Oversee investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, transfers, and redemptions.
• Manage and mentor investor services professionals while developing a high-performing team.
• Maintain key client relationships, lead presentations and due diligence meetings, and resolve complex inquiries.
• Partner with fund accounting, legal, compliance, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions and improve operational efficiency through automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive investor services experience in the financial services industry, preferably involving alternative investments such as private equity or hedge funds.
• Leadership experience managing large teams and developing talent.
• Extensive knowledge of investor services operations and AML, KYC, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
• Strong client relationship, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with investor services software and platforms, fund structures, legal documents, and financial reporting.

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience with alternative investments, including private equity or hedge funds.
