Senior Software Engineer (C++/.NET)

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA; the role may require in-person onboarding and identity verification.

Salary: $117,000–$209,330 annual base salary for U.S.-based roles, depending on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, document, and maintain production-quality SDKs and reusable software components.
• Develop across modern C#/.NET and C++, including managed/native interoperability.
• Design developer-facing APIs with attention to usability, compatibility, versioning, deprecation, and migration.
• Build automated unit, integration, compatibility, consumer, and performance testing strategies.
• Own build, packaging, CI/CD, NuGet publishing, artifact management, and software releases.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams, contribute to architecture discussions, investigate complex technical problems, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience developing production-quality applications, libraries, or SDKs.
• Strong experience with modern C#/.NET and C++, including managed/native interoperability.
• Experience designing SDKs, libraries, or developer-facing APIs and evolving them with backward compatibility in mind.
• Experience with automated testing, build systems, packaging, dependency management, continuous integration, and source control.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to work independently across unfamiliar technologies.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly, including validating generated code and maintaining software quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with CloudBees, NuGet, Artifactory, or similar CI/CD and artifact-management platforms.
• Knowledge of computational geometry, CAD, B-Rep, mesh, or primitive geometry.
• Experience with cross-platform native or .NET software, Linux, performance optimization, cloud systems, or specification-driven development.
• Experience creating API documentation, examples, migration guidance, or other developer-experience materials.
