PMO Manager (Microsoft)

Location: Eastern United States; remote, with onsite work possible as required by business needs

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of project management services, including governance, project oversight, performance tracking, and quality controls.
• Lead and supervise a remote PMO team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Program Managers.
• Ensure complex technical engagements meet defined scope, schedule, budget, contractual, and delivery standards.
• Coordinate resources and communicate project status, risks, issues, and decisions with departmental and executive leadership.
• Analyze project metrics and financial performance to support execution-focused decisions and delivery commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience as a PMO Manager or Director in a large enterprise matrixed organization.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and PMBOK.
• Experience delivering complex IT projects, managing budgets and costs, and resolving risks and issues.
• Experience with statements of work, contractual commitments, delivery standards, and cross-functional leadership communication.
• US citizenship that is eligible for required federal clearance is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• At least two of the following certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or Microsoft Project 2016/2019 Certification.
