PMO Manager

Location: Eastern US — remote; onsite work may be requested as required by business needs. US Citizenship and clearability are required.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee the day-to-day execution and delivery of project management services, including governance, team leadership, project oversight, performance tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure complex technical engagements meet defined scope, schedule, budget, contractual, and delivery-standard expectations.
• Directly supervise a remote PMO team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Program Managers managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate resources and communicate with executive, departmental, and vertical leadership to maintain efficient project execution.
• Manage project financials, analyze performance metrics, identify risks and issues, and drive execution-focused decisions.
• Adapt delivery practices to changing project priorities, technologies, and market conditions while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience as a PMO Manager or Director in a large enterprise matrixed organization.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and PMBOK.
• Experience delivering complex IT projects involving technical deployments and managing project budgets, costs, risks, and performance data.
• Experience ensuring adherence to statements of work, contractual commitments, and delivery standards.
• At least two certifications are required: PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or Microsoft Project 2016/2019 Certification.
